Hall, in Patala Linga. Seshadri Swami looked after Sri Ramana. |

Moves to
Gurumurtam less than a year and a half after his arrival at
Tiruvannamalai. Palani swami took care of Bhagavan, and continued
thereafter for the next 21 years. |

little more than a year at Gurumurtam moves to nearby mango orchard and
stayed there for about 6 months. |

Pavalakkunru [Arunachala Hill] where a temple, a spring and a cave was

Holy Hill, Arunachala. Stays in various caves - Satguru Swami Cave [Alamarathu
Cave], Namasivaya Cave for short periods, then to Virupaksha Cave, where
he lived for 17 years [1899-1916], using Mango Tree Cave [near Mulaipal
Tirtham] as summer residence |

Pachaiamman Koil for six months during the plague epidemic. Returns to
the Hill when crisis is over. |

Ganapathi
Muni [who earlier visited Sri Ramana twice in 1903/1904] visits Bhagavan.
Bhagavan imparts knowledge to him. In a letter Muni writes the next day,
he declares that Sri Ramana should be called Bhagavan. |

Pachaiamman Koli with Ganapathi Muni and others. Returns to Virupaksha
Cave later in the year. |

recorded visit of a Westerner - Frank H. Humphreys visits Bhagavan. [He
wrote about Sri Ramana and the article was first published in The
International Psychic Gazette in 1913.] |

Moves to
Skandashram. [Sri Ramana's mother and younger brother, Nagasundaram join
him at Tiruvannamalai and followed him when he moved to Skandashram. Mother
initally stayed with Echammal and in 1917, upon her return, settled permanently there.] |

Ganapathi
Muni write Sri Ramana Gita in Sanskrit. It has collection of questions
put to Sri Bhagavan between December 1913 and August 1917 on different
occasions, and his answers. |

Sri Ramana's
mother passed away. Her body was buried on the banks of Palitirtham, at
the foot of the southern slope of Arunachala. Disciples erected a brick
samadhi and a Siva linga from Kasi was placed atop the samadhi and
named, Matrubhuteswara. |

Bhagavan
came down from Skandashram permanently and settled at the base of the
Hill, where Ramanasramam is located today. he was visited by
Swami Ramdas. |

Sri Ramana
Maharshi leaves his physical body at 8:47 p.m. Many people observed a
shiny star in the sky, coming from the South and moving slowly northward
across the sky and disappearing behind the peak of Arunachala. |
